Last night I was invited to the drive in movie. But this is not your typical drive in movie. It was a movie projected onto the side of a house in the middle of a field. The house belonged to the Rutledges. Home of one of my very best friends, Haley. We had the best time! Many people came and set up lawn chairs, ate popcorn, drank cokes, and watched The Pacifier. It was the perfect summer night get together. Ashley came to join us as well and it was great getting to spend time with two of my best friends I don't get to see that often.
Haley has now entered the real world working as a nurse at Children's Hospital in Birmingham. She has her own apartment and pays her own bills. I'm amazed. I'm very proud of her and have a lot of respect for what she does.
Ashley just graduated from Princeton and is coming with me to Italy to take painting. This should be quite an experience. Post Italy plans for Ashley are a little hazy but I know that she'll be a great success in whatever she does.
All of my friends graduating and getting jobs have made me realize that I will soon be on my own. My head is spinning with ideas of what I want my life to be like after pharmacy school. I have three years to plan but I have no idea where I will end up. I know that my future is entirely in God's hands and I take great joy in that. I have a lot of grand ideas but I don't know how they will all fit together. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
