It's Been a While

So, I am a little behind on my postings. Let me just sum up what's been going on since July.
I left on July 7th for my month long adventure in Italy. I flew into London for a flight change on the day of the bombings. I almost had to cancell my trip b/c of it but I went anyway and it turned out to be great! I lived in an apartment in Florence where I took a painting class at Santa Reparata School of International art. The class was a lot of fun and I really gained a better appreciation for the arts. I got to see and do so many things! On the weekends we went to Rome, Venice, Pompeii, Capri, Milan, and Pisa. I came home on the 7th of August and had a week at home before returning to Auburn for my second year of pharmacy school. It was weird being back in the US again and I kept wanting to tell everyone Grazie instead of thank you. However, I was really happy to have some good ol American food.

My days back at Auburn have been good but extremely busy. School pretty much dominates my life. I spend most of my time studying with my friends, Jonathan (who is semi cool but probably not the coolest person in my class) and Brett and Shelley and of course Josh. We have a good time together and it makes studying a little easier. This past weekend I was in a wedding for my friend Ping who is from China. She married an American guy and the wedding was really sweet. It was interesting because she had never been to an American wedding before. I enjoyed getting to tell her about all of our traditions involved with getting married. She is going to China in November to have a Chinese wedding ceremony as well.

So, that about sums everything up. I will try to keep up better now, but we'll see how that goes.
